Not only does the season make a difference, but certain weeks in that season may be weighted more heavily than other weeks in the very same season(based largely on supply and demand).

Another words, a Platinum Grande Vista week is not necesarily equal to a Summit Watch Platinum week, yet an Aruba Gold week (two bedroom) may have a higher CMG than several Grande Vista Platinum season weeks.

I have heard a wide range of promises made by sales people in this regard. How in the world could one suggest that a Manor Club Gold Season week has the same demand (or trading power) as a Newport Coast Gold Season week? It just can't be. There is no such thing as a color blind exchange (excluding FLEX, and even in FLEX unit size and Marriott ownership status makes a difference).

Ok..Bottom line is..Home resort is just a "tie breaker" when two different,but equal weeks are fighting over the same availability...Maz
