I have gone the route of having companies ask to pay upfront fees, none of whom I did send any money since I am not in a position where I have to sell. As far as I am concerened no money leaves my hands for any type of commission until the TS is sold and I have greenbacks in my hand. Thanks to the TUG community for making that point well known!
