for (2) 1 bedroom lock off units (both 1 bedroom lock off units must be sold together) at the Occidental Grand Aruba (Allegro vacation club) It's a high season. Since it's platinum plus I can use it at any of their other resorts without paying an additional fee? The m/f are $495.00 per unit and I will be using it or trading it within Allegro Vacation Club each year.(we love all inclusive resorts but this unit would be optional all inclusive). I don't plan on exchanging it with RCI. TIA, Susan (the owner is asking 9,000 for both units)

High season is 51-13 in Aruba. If you are getting two consecutive 1 bed. lock-outs, implying that you can split each week into two studio units, then it sounds like a good deal. But I am not familiar with this resort, and you should be buying it primarily to use it, not to trade. IP: Logged |

What the heck is a 1 BR lock-off? Or are you actually buying a studio that is the lock-off portion of a 2BR unit?BTW there is a low season studio on eBay right now, no bids and the opening is $2k if that gives you some idea. [This message has been edited by Heron (edited 06-04-2005).] IP: Logged |

I saw that one but I am looking for a larger unit but it's really 1 studio/hotel room each year. The 1 bedroom lock off will reduce to 2 hotel units so I would have (2) 1 bedrooms or (4) hotel units each year. We travel with friends and family a lot so we like the option of taking 2 hotel units if we bring other people with us or sometimes we put the kids in one room and us in the other. We love the Allegro chain and have stayed at several of their resorts so that is why I am looking at the Allegro/Occidental units. Tia, Susan IP: Logged |
