We own a second home at MOss Creek. We rent it out. Some people have used it for a week, some have used it for more than a month. We do visit the home on occasion. If we get 12 weeks of rental out of it a year, that's okay with us. As far as the question about buying into such a "hot" market as Hilton Head.... Our home is just one-quarter mile off-island. Prices have increased substantially in the last six months here, but nothing like the 30-40% increases we have seen ON-ISLAND in the same time period. So, consider buying off-island. Some of the developments are just as nice, its just further from the beach. We are 12 minutes from the beach. IP: Logged
