I was thinking about our meeting this morning too! 4 days and counting, I can't wait I leave friday. I spoke with Tracey today at the resort, very polite and confirmed the room on my reservation. She did say only owners are assured a particular room.Sunday poolside seems fine at 6 that way it should allow everyone to make plans for the day. IP: Logged |

Yes, I've read. I've commented. The sentiments expressed definitely echo those of many who have gone before. They do not however express my feelings about the place. The only thing further that I can say is that if you are looking for a quiet vacation escape, the Atlantis is NOT for you!!! LOL Everything about the resort is glitz and show. Personally, I find it to be tranquil for my world at times, but that's me. However, I can see how this place would drive some people nutty. Don't worry!!! You will have a ball!!! ------------------ Danielle IP: Logged |

You're right pcgirl, our paths are crossing frequently. Just goes to show you what good taste can do for ya!! I think I'll pass on the Power Boat Adventures. The last time in Cancun I took my wife on the Jungle Tour and still haven't heard the last about how rough a ride it was. Not ready to test my luck again anytime soon. We're all going to have a great time. I'm not going to let others opinions influence my mind before I even arrive. We need to practice the art of positive thinking. Island life is just a little different than the mainland. You remember the song "Don't worry, be happy"? This will be our fifth trip to the Bahamas and quite honestly, it's not for everyone. If you're used to being pampered and can't leave your type "A" personality at home and have to have service "NOW", you may be disappointed. On the other hand, if you can just kick back and enjoy the surroundings and the Bahamian people you will have a great time. Personally I'm looking forward to a great Bahama Mama. ------------------ EVR-Maui Pictures MAO & Aruba Grand pictures IP: Logged |

We are going to have a great time. The beach, sun filled days, adventure travel, lots of glitz,a Bahama Mama and meeting Tug friends. How can we go wrong? I don't have to work 12 hour days or stay in an office without windows and feel that chilly ,rainy New England weather. I feel bad for those that did not have a good trip as expected and hope for better luck. pcgirl
