Please help me decide.
I am thinking of purchasing timeshare in the Bahamas...
Please give me feedback on the Crystal Palace or the Paradise Island Beach Club.
I have 2 teenage daughters. What would be my best bet.
Thank you in advance.

Diana,

The Crystal Palace is a little run down IMHO. I have stayed there in the past. The last time I was there visiting, a rat ran across the lobby floor in front of us!!!

You should know that it seems that the Crystal Palace is supposedly undergoing a HUGE renovation in the next year or so that will rival the Atlantis.

As for the Paradise Island Beach Club, that is a former Marriott timeshare. The beach is beautiful, but check into the maintenance fees....they may be a little high.

Diana, I would go along with Dani on this one. From what I was told they are getting ready to start a 1.5 billion renovation of Cable Beach. Eventually everything is suppose to be razed and rebuilt. Don't know what this is going to do to the timeshares out there but for the short term I don't think it's going to be good. On the other foot the PIB club is kind of isolated and I would have to have a car if I had a unit there. JMHO.

Diana, If you're thinking of buying at the Beach Club, email me privately. I own four weeks there.
