I just received an exchange for the Divi Village Golf and Beach Resort in Aruba for Christmas Week of 2005. When I was there last December (2004) there was construction going on of new units and I believe another pool with I think a slide. Does anyone know how things are progressing?

I appreciate any input of fellow Members!

Thanks in advance.

I saw a week at that resort on the DAE availiblility list and thought about taking it, but passed it up when I saw that the resort was not oceanfront. How far from the beach is it?

It is just across a small road. It really is beach front but with a hop, skip and a jump. I would take it in a minute. Just cam back from Aruba and went by it but I know nothing about the construction. The gold course looks totally finished.

I agree with Lynda; it is just across the road from the beach. Very east to cross. I think that the construction of the property is very good and it seemed very new when I stayed there in December 2004.

When I was there in Feb/Mar the new clubhouse was under construction as well as new units on the course. They seemed far enough away from the established units to not cause a noise problem especially since you'll have the ac running. Linda
