Author Topic:   Flamingo Beach Nightlife Gail22 TUG Member Posts: 40 From: Lee's Summit, Missouri Registered: Jan 2001 posted 05-24-2005 08:15                We will be traveling to Flamingo Beach Resort in June. We will have our adult children traveling w/us. Has anyone tried Bamboo Bernies for dinner? I am looking for a great place along the water to reserve for dinner for our first night there. The kids like more action that my husband and I usually go in for. We have gone to Bliss for dancing in the evening and thought it was a lovely spot. We haven't tried the Q club either. Unbelievable, that we have been there yearly for at least ten years and haven't tried these spots! We usually prefer quiet dinner spots after a day at the beach. Also, is the beach at Flamingo Beach safe at night? We were told on our first trip to St. Maarten to avoid the beaches at night due to "wild dogs" and crime. We have never had any problems while traveling there, but usually don't venture onto the beaches at night. No hubbies or kids so I NEED to feel good & safe! Q Club is for 18 to 29!! I'm over 40 & was REAL out of place!
