Sorry, I can't find it now. I think it just may have been promotional material given to me when I expressed interest in RVC.

Ken, you must have bought after Whiski Jack was purchased by Raintree approx 4-5 years ago. Whiski Jack owners prior to then are given the option to upgrade (for a fee) to an RVC membership or stick with the old system. quote: Originally posted by allenke: I only own one week (35), but when I bought in at Whisky Jack, I automatically became a RVC owner and they pay my RCI dues (though, I am sure I probably pay for it some how im my main. dues.Ken

There has been a time lapse since the last posting on this thread (Canada) but on the Mexico board, there have been several addressing RVC and Club Regina. I think that everyone should note the rumor that Starwood may become involved with Club Regina, taking over RVC's interest. There may be some question about the finances of Raintree, according to the posts on the Mexico board. As a Club Regina member with RVC rights, I am both concerned and confused about these rumors.John ------------------ RoverJohn IP: Logged |

John.I share you concerns and have be unable to find any reliable information. A subsidiary of Raintree filed for bankruptcy in June 2002, defaulting on $95 million in notes. I cannot find any info on status. The Mexico Tug pages are full of rumor that Starwood is about to acquire the Club Regina properties, but not the non Mexican properties. As a new RVC member I'm trying to find out potential impact on RVC tradeability. Does anyone know somthing that is not rumor? John IP: Logged |
