Does RCI have a rep that responds to emails. I was just wondering when we could expect to get back onto the site??

The site's working for me this morning. You can write to feedback@rci.com and tell them your problem. They have a team of people that will check into your complaint.

I have to disagree with you. They DO NOT reply to any emails, or if they do it is a canned, meaningless answer that doesn't address the original question. The site, at least Points search, is down and has been down for more than a week. The rest of the site seems to be up but who really knows what you are seeing now? I wouldn't trust it as far as anything it says now as there certainly are points reservations to be had yet the the site reports "Sorry, we did not find a match for your search. Please change your search criteria and try again". I guess all requests will now have to go back to the phone/VC days to get any answers at all. Every web designer that RCI employs or uses should be relieved of duty immediately. They would be better off with no web site than the current nightmare they have.

RCI's websites, especially the points site, have had a rough time lately and have presented our members with great inconvenience. I can certainly acknowledge this.

RCI and Cendant have committed millions of dollars to RCI's infrastructure this year. Many of the server problems we've been having have been related to our systems trying to function at or beyond their capacities. Cendant supports our initiative to make significant changes this year that will be reflected in dramatically improved web experiences for our members.

As I have more information that I can share about the initiatives, I will share them here in Ask RCI.

Thanks Madge. While I would rather hear things are repaired I appreciate the acknowledgement that the site is broken rather than the repeated statements that "it's working now".

I will cease my complaints for now and await an improved site later this year. I'm sure we all look forward to an at least reliable site.
