I am have just purchased a timeshare that trades with RCI, its fixed week 35, I know I will not be able to use it this year, so, I would like to get it deposited with RCI asap. My question is, can I have the sellers deposit it into my new RCI account (once its activated)? or do I have to wait to have the deed in hand?

Also, I filled out the online enrollment application yesterday (Saturday) about how long before I have a member number so I can get into the website?

We're pleased to have you as a new RCI member!

The sellers may certainly transfer a deposited week to your RCI account. There is a $49 transfer fee, and we would need a written request, signed by both the sellers and you.

You may send information to us at RCI, attn: Customer Service, PO Box 80229, Indianapolis IN 46209-8097 or fax it to 317/805-9335.

Enrollment applications submitted online are usually processed within a few days. If you do not receive an acknowledgement e-mail message within a week of enrolling, please send a message to feedback@rci.com and enter TUG in the subject line. The Communications Team would be glad to check the status for you.

I got my online login all set up, and the sellers have already delivered the deed for recording, but they said that it could take 4-6 weeks because the property is in Kissimee and I guess there is quite a backlog there.
