I was wondering how some people on Ebay are able to sell weeks that are already spacebanked with RCI and then transfer them to your account for a $49 fee? I called and asked if I could transfer one of my weeks (along with that $49 fee) to my sister's account so she could do her own exchanging with it and was told it couldn't be done. It's just easier to transfer it to her rather than me doing all the looking. I know that when an auction is won on Ebay it's switched over quickly with that $49 fee added on. What's the difference in those weeks vs mine?

segerd,

There is absolutely nothing wrong with your transferring a deposited week to your sister so that she can confirm a vacation. You simply cannot collect anything of value from her in return. However, she may pay the $49 transfer fee and the exchange fee - this is perfectly fine. I'm sorry to hear you were told that you couldn't do this.

If you will send your request in writing, we'll take care of it. Be sure to include both RCI ID numbers, the specific week and unit you are transferring, and the payment information. Send that to:
