Going to MZT Oct 2005, Airfare now (May 2005)hovers at $500 round trip. Anyone have any thoughts on price reductions as October approaches? Or should I "live with the $500" ?

Thanks

Clint, I don't know where you're seeing $500 r/t, but if that includes taxes/fees that is superb. The only time I got a steal of a deal from ATL-MZT was just after Sept 11 when America West had a deeply discounted price and I got $381 r/t plus taxes/fees. I honestly don't predict a sale on the horizon due to fuel prices. ATL-MZT is an expensive market, as is PV from here. I watch those markets like a hawk 'cause I go every year. Good luck to ya!

Is that with Frontiers? We're suppose to be going in October too.

Tricia,
Frontier. 1066.00 for two of us. Leaves ATL at 6:30 AM. We took same flight last year ... for about the same dollars. You're in MZT at 12:30.

We've been toying with trying to go out of LAX, but this requires an overnight. Can't get to LAX from the east coast to catch a cheap flight. America West has a $284 RT, but the overnite and the ATL to LAX fare is more than the Frontier fare.

We're waiting 'til end of June to book. If the Frontier fare is still the best, as per thye prior "replier"... we're on it.

See you on Casa Country ???

I have been having the same experience with booking airfare to Nassau, Bahamas. Expensive this year and no Delta Skysavers seats available. There are seats, but just the ones you have to pay big bucks for...I have getting creative looking for flights. might have come up with a skysaver seat on Delta to Miami and then paying to finish up the trip on Bahamasair....We try to save money any way we can...we go every week the same time in October to the Bahamas..own on Paradise Island, I should learn and book the skysaver seats around 330 days prior to our trip. Good luck in your search....
