Author Topic:   Norfolk to VA Beach Kat TUG Member Posts: 32 From: Madison, WI Registered: Dec 2000 posted 06-01-2005 06:11                Anyone who is familiar with the area, can you recommend some type of transportation that will get me from the airport in Norfolk to the beach. I will be arriving on 6/16 and the rest of the group will be driving in from WI and should arrive on Saturday. I would really prefer not to have to rent a car. I'm assuming there are probably taxis, but is there any type of shuttle service that would be cheaper. It is about a 20 mile drive and if you aren't renting a car, you would need a taxi or bus(might even have shuttles). I did try the hotel and they don't have a shuttle. Someone suggested I contact Beach Taxi as they take reservations for airport pickup. I did and they do. Transportation is now set. Again thanks.
