Just wondering if anyone has secured a block of timeshare weeks for use by a group. In this case I need to find lodging for about 20 individuals, in or around Orlando for the end of April of next year
(2006). Is this a doable thing or is it going to be more headaches than its worth? I was looking at extra Vacations in the RCI Web site and found several places but not many had more than two weeks for the same date.

I never booked for 20 people but did exchange into 2 separate units at the same resort for the same week for 6 adults and 4 children of 3 families. It worked out fine for us, we were all in the same building.
I am sure it will depend on the resort and how they assign their units.
I think a VC would be able to help you with it.
Please report back how it worked out.

I have seven units for Thanksgiving at Cypress Harbour in Orlando. You will find this harder to do during peak season but Orlando is definitely the place to book a group event.

Pick a big resort with alot of exchange activity and start hunting. I did not confirm all seven of my units at the same time but over a period of weeks.

I have 6 units at the Manor club in williamsburg this summer.
Orlando at the end of April will be easy, but if you are going during Easter, thats a tough trade.
I would think 4 (2) bdr units should do you just fine.
