When the travel agency (Global Impact) sent the confirmation e-mail it shows up as "Requested" for seat assignments. Went to the US Airways/United website and it appears the next time you can request a seat assignment after you have purchased your tickets is at checkin . Is this right? Haven't gotten a response to my e-mail to Global Impact on this yet (may have to call them). You don't actually talk to anyone...it's all automated. I did have problems getting seat assignment on Airtrans.
