If I were to purchase a Royal Holiday Club (RHC) Weeks membership, and then use that week to obtain a reservation at another RHC property (e.g., NYC), does anyone know if I'm able to rent out the week? If so, does RHC charge a fee to put the reservation into the renter's name?

Thanks
Richard

I just bought a RHC myself and from the stuff I've seen the club doesn't care what you do with the reservation. I got this impression when they did not have need for a guest certificate if the party who is going to use the reservation is other than the owner. Also, another RHC owner on TUG indicated he was able to reserve some time for another member to use. This is one of the reasons I picked up the ownership for myself. Additionally, I read somewhere that if you were to spacebank your yearly use of the RHC, it is really RCI that picks the desirable location and week for spacebanking. RHC basically opens up it's books of reservable time if an owner wants to take his week and spacebank it into RCI. Based on this I would think that RCI would pick the one that has the highest desirability with the resultant benefit to the owner that banks: a week that has the strength to pull in desirable weeks too.
