I have had no dealing with them and do not know if TT Timeshare is also The Timeshare Company. Why do you think there the same company? But EBays report on TT-Timeshare is very good. They seem to sell alot of "no reserve TS". Good Luck

I won an eBay auction for a timeshare in Myrtle Beach this past March. The closing was handled by The Timeshare Company located in Wisconsin. There were no problems with the closing and I received the deed in the mail last week.IP: Logged |

tttimeshare Looks quite similar to the one known as "thefrieds". Lots of tuggers bought from thefrieds in the past. They had some shill bidding going on eBay and was kicked off eBay for a while. thefrieds were also based in Wisconsin. Maybe this is their new ID?------------------ LisaH IP: Logged |

Yes ... it is their company. I've bought two from them in the past year. Everything was handled professionally and in record time. In fact, I think I'd rate them higher than any of the other 4 or 5 professional ebay resale brokers I've bought from. I had heard the shill bidding accusations, so I watched carefully before I bid the first time. I saw nothing suspicious whatsoever. I like that they provide the reserve price right at the top of the ad -- I can make an immediate decision if an auction is worth watching or not.

How did they do the "shill bidding" and how can someone tell if a bid against yours is shill or legitimate? Thanks very much for everyone's time and advice. IP: Logged |

Shill bidding is usually going on with any "no reserve" timeshare auction. The lister lists the timeshare on eBay with no reserve and usually will mention in the ad that it is a no reserve auction which draws bidders in...Then, the lister has friend, family or uses a fake id to bid it up. This is why you should take all "no reserve" auctions with a grain of salt. I have bid on some Hawaii weeks that have no reserve and notice the same names popping up as winning bidders that I see over and over again, so I guess that is the resaler, trying to get a certain amount for the week without setting a "must get" price. That seems unethical, if not illegal. Do they get charged if a buyer agrees to the reserve, but not if the buyer is non-existent? IP: Logged |
