This company has a week on ebay that I am tempted to pursue. Has anyone had any dealings with them. The price they have the week is making me leery. Thanks Bill IP: Logged |

They've been arount the TUG scene a long time. Usually (I SAY USUALLY) very few complaints....but some say closing fee to high, Take too long to complete transaction, info on resorts sometimes wrong, but they will make good on their errors .Sometimes they even give you another week free for closing. Remember....sometime the low price may still not be worth it. www.holidaygroup.com/bogo ------------------ Ken K PS: Win a week with your TUG Winning Review submission: Award Week PIX Please click the page numbers as they present different subjects IP: Logged |

I bought a week from them on e-bay, a week 52 carribean palm village on aruba for $ 700 eoy. even with the high closing costs I thought I recieved a good deal as this week pulls alot of stuff and recieves a bonus week . I even recieved a free week and we chose a membership in america's travel club ( you get what you pay for ) and have been making this work for us. holiday was easy to deal with and no hidden costs.IP: Logged |

Go for it! I have never dealt with this seller but did with another ebay timeshare seller (with their own high priced closing company) and everything worked out fine. The total price was good and I did stay on top of the entire transaction. When things were not what I expected I got it straightened out right away. I am now very happy with my purchase. Barbara

I didn't bid through ebay but got an awesome deal on a houseboat timeshare - it is my favourite and one I will never sell. I echo others - even with the high closing costs, I was very happy and everything went smoothly.Bev IP: Logged |

I have bought 3 weeks from them. I dealt with MOJO and she has been great. You have to look at the complete price to determine if it is good. Even though the closing fees are a bit high, it is usually more than offset by the low sale price. I did have a problem with one of the weeks where the previous owner deposited the 2005 week with RCI just before I bought it and after Holiday had done their research. They made it right by giving me what I asked, a deposit of points ( within 36 hours ) into my RCI account so I could make an equivalent trade. So even though they ocassionally make a mistake in listing, I think due to the volume they handle and the lack of proper papers from some of the previous owners, they stand behind the sale and will correct the error as best they can. I've bought a timeshare from them before and it was no hassle. Sandy was great at helping me out. I am now in the process of buying a 2nd timeshare from them!IP: Logged |

I have bought four weeks from them. Just double check all details. Some think their closing is pricey- I just factor it into what I will pay. Good Luck- they are good people.IP: Logged |

I have used MaryJo there and she is really good. Mine were direct sales and not via ebay. MaryJo is still looking for me and if the right one comes up at the right price, I will buy again.IP: Logged |

I have also used them. Annie was super, everything was fast & smooth, and as the other posters have said, just factor the higher closing costs into your bid.Cheers! Paula ------------------ DVC owner at OKW IP: Logged |

I also used Holiday Group to purchase my first timeshare and would use them again. I called and verified all of the information with the resort and had no surprises. Received my deed in about 5 weeks, they also sent me emails that provided an update as the deed went from step to step.------------------ Llexlon IP: Logged |

I've bought 3 weeks through Holiday. One transaction they could not complete so they refunded my money. The last one I bought at auction on e-Bay. The information indicated we wouldn't have use of the unit until 2006. We learned recently when we received the paperwork from the resort that we do have the use of the unit this year and didn't have to pay the maintenance fee...someone messed up, but we'll enjoy the week! Each transaction has taken longer than necessary and their closing costs are quite high, but the total price was right! Go for it!------------------ luana IP: Logged |

I have purchased 7 timeshares from them.....and MOJO is the best and will take good care of you. Closing is a little slow but any mistakes and they will make it right. You should have no major concerns.------------------ Grand Pacific Resorts Owners Group Private Group for Grand Pacific Resorts Owners IP: Logged |

I can only agree with the positive comments on this board. I have nothing but good things to say about Holiday group. The person I have dealt with is Sharon Scriber. I was so impressed after the first sale I purchased a second TS a year later. Both in Cancun. If the rest of the company is as good as Sharon, I would have no qualms about any purchase with Holiday group.

I bought a week from them that they advertised on EBay. I was the only bidder and my bid did not meet the reserve price. I called Annie, my sales rep, and she sold me the week at my max bid price, which was $200 below the reserve. I'm happy.------------------ Nicole IP: Logged |

I have bought 3 weeks from them over the past 5 years and some of the closings took a lot longer than they said but in the end everything worked out. I flipped two of the weeks for a nice profit and still own one of the weeks I got through Holiday.------------------ Larry IP: Logged |

Bill, we were looking that same deal but resisted the urge to buy, but I would have to agree that it should really work out very well for you.Congrats on a seemingly great buy. Bruce

I just purchased directly from their website and dealt with Claudio who was very helpful and knowledgeable. I took a lot of his time asking many, many questions and he never rushed me.I had to prompt their closing people a little to get progress details but overall I would definitely use them again.
