Going to be at Berkshire on the Ocean for two weeks as husband has to go to a class in the area. Does anyone know anything about the units there? All the reviews are old.IP: Logged |

I have never stayed there so can't tell you much. But living down here I have driven by them and they seem, at least from the outside appearance, to be very nice.IP: Logged |

I stayed there a couple of years ago. I found the units relatively small, adequate plus, and clean. The area outside by the pool is very nice. I have confidence that they are still that way as they are managed by the same people as Berkshire Beach Club in Deerfield Beach where I stay annually.IP: Logged |

We're currently staying at Berkshire on the Ocean on an exchange. Yes, our unit is small, but very clean. The bedroom has a king size bed, which we appreciate. The kitchen is very compact, with 3/4 normal size appliances (fridge, range/oven, and dishwasher), and is well supplied -- they even have two non-stick skillets. I'll include more in my review in the next few weeks. ------------------ Kristin Bishop Other International Reviews IP: Logged |

Just got back from staying at there. It's a well kept, clean place. My only real complaint was the bed. The mattress sagged badly and when I asked that it be flipped, I had to do it myself with the help of the resort handyman. The central air conditioning unit was in bedroom and was a little noisy though it wasn't bad enought to keep us awake. The unit backed up closely to another buidling whose a/c units were noisy enough to prevent us from opening the bedroom windows. On a positive note, the grounds were very well kept and the rooms were well appointed with 2 TVs, a stereo and VCR. The kitchen was small, but had a stove, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. Our room was on the upper level and had an ocean view, We enjoyed sitting out and watching the waves. There's a gas grill by the pool and a laundry area. We would go back. Ask for Judy at the check-in desk and get directions to Boy's market for fresh produce, chesses and wine. Downtown Delray is very interesting with many shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants. Try Foxy's ice cream.
