Looking to trade LBR for a 2 BR Maui timeshare for 4th of July week this summer. Is this an impossible trade? Fairly easy? Anyone have experience with this? HTSE has nothing for the week I need, would probably use RCI.IP: Logged |

Add to that "Summer Holiday week" trade and it becomes nearly impossible. Try Trading Places Maui ... they work with both LBR and about seven different timeshares on Maui for a fee. I have had success moving my fixed dated Maui unit around through them. 800 345-7301 or www.tpmaui.com. Good Luck!IP: Logged |

Call Norma at Tradingplaces.com and ask her. She lives in Hawaii and has gotten us many good trades but not the 4th of July. We go every year to Hawaii and use her services. If you want more information EMAIL me.IP: Logged |

I see maui trades available all the time, but not at the highest demanded resorts, and not much bigger than an efficiency. You need a good trader to get a high-demand Maui resort at peak time, larger than an efficiency.------------------ Those are my principles. And if you don't like them, well, I have others. We were extremely fortunate to get a 2-bedroom at MauiLea for a 4th of July week several years ago at the last minute. We already had a week reserved at the Bay Club on the Big Island and wanted to add a second Hawaii week to our trip. It seems like Maui popped up about two weeks before we left. I suppose if you like to "live on the edge" you could make some kind of cancellable reservations and take your chances for a timeshare to become available at the last minute. They often do in Hawaii.IP: Logged |

We have also used TP Maui and have had good luck. They are probably the best option. Maui Hill also used TP Maui for its internal exchanges. You may get priority trading between those two resort. ------------------ Dave & Trina IP: Logged |

For whatever it's worth, we just returned from two weeks in Maui that we traded into using Atlantic City Flagship efficiency units. The first week was a 2 BR at The Sands Of Kahana and the second week was a 1 BR at the Maui Beach Club. Not the "Marriot" but very nice none the less. Beachfront, nice enough amenities, and helpful, courteous staff, along with a nicely appointed, spacious condo and a clean and well maintained resort. Like I said, not Marriot, but what more do you really HAVE to have?? Peak season trade using units I paid less than a thousand dollars to purchase, and yes, relatively last minute, but not hard to do. Hope that answer helps!IP: Logged |

If you need to rent, Maui Lea at Maui Hill is associated with Aston Hotels, and Aston does rent out units there. IP: Logged |
