Sorry if I posted in the wrong place; Hello, I have a question. I picked up on this sleep 4 unit floating (1-52) week. The owner wants out but I can't get the managment Co to return my calls. They are apparently located in Washington State I believe. The fax # is 360 576 0329 and the contact is Ms. Dewane. There is no phone # to talk to a live person only a fax. I have called over 10 times in the last month leaving faxes to please return my calls to no avail. The resort is no help.Does anyone have any #'s to call or any owners out there that know how one would get in touch with them so we can proceed on the closing. tia ------------------ Lisa IP: Logged |

I tried to buy RHAC several years ago from owner. Management company refused to talk to me to confirm owner arrears. Owner told me managment company refused to allow me to buy because "you ask too many questions".IP: Logged |

Thanks for the helpful info and emails...tuggers are the best!I wanted to clarify that the RAVC (0082) and Royal Hawaiian Adventure Club (0037) are unfortunatly not the same. Wish they were because RAVC is much easier to deal with. Probally why they have RID status and RHAC is not rated (and at the rate they are going probally never will be). But thanks anyway for the post and email. I finally found the managment Co on the internet by punching in the address that the resort reluctantly gave me because I was having no luck faxing them....so I want everyone to have the number because they hate for owners or prospective owners to call them; 360 574 2345. Heres the address too; Royal Hawaiian Adventure Club; 708 NE 78th St, Vancouver, WA 98665. Of course they would not talk to me but now that I have the number I feel like i am getting somewhere. The resort and the managment Co are rude to say the least and very uncooperative. Of all the timeshares I have dealt with this has been the most difficult. Will keep you guys posted. ------------------ Lisa [This message has been edited by Lisa (edited 03-21-2005).] IP: Logged |

I tried to buy RHAC several years ago from owner. Management company refused to talk to me to confirm owner arrears. Owner told me managment company refused to allow me to buy because "you ask too many questions".The irony is that I have a lawyer/broker friend who is going to close this for me and is having problems too!! He advised me after several faxes that we may not be able to proceed because of no response from the managment Co. Finally after a month of at least 10 faxes of asking them to please provide him with a phone # so he could talk to them about their closing procediers and so forth (especially since this is not deeded but RTU). finally they snail mailed him a reponse that the owner is not responding to their snail mailings and blaa, blaa, blaa. Are they so upitty they can't pick up a phone? Are they behind the times or what? How the heck can you communacate in this day and age without a PHONE # or at least an email address? I have a question; has any tuggers have had to deal with mangement Co's in the US such as this? tia ------------------ Lisa [This message has been edited by Lisa (edited 03-21-2005).] IP: Logged |

I recall that the timeshare is actually owned by an individual; not by the "owners". He sells right to use. So he (she?) can reject anyone they chose. I wouldn't be surprised if he is hoping to sell that portion of the Royal Kuhio building when the current use agreement expires (I think it is 2040).This is my recollection from the trouble I had about 10 years ago trying to buy from an "owner" in Vancouver CA. The office staff in Hawaii was very cooperative as far as they had authority. But all "contracts" are run by the owner. IP: Logged |
