I am going on spring break and was hoping to get away from the rain. PLS tell me there is sun there? We are headed to Waikiki then off to Ko Olina. Any good news? Thanks IP: Logged

There may be a shower a mile away that lasts 5 minutes and nothing on the beach. Up against the mountains they trap the moisture and it will rain more. On the other side there will hardly be any rain all year. It is exciting to takeoff and land in Hawaii because you can often see rainbows greeting you and telling you aloha when you leave. It's been cooler than usual, but that shouldn't last, either. I liked the comments about the rainbows and how the weather can be so different on different parts of the island. So true! IP: Logged
