Can this be true? I just received my new 2005 RCI book and I only see 4 resorts for Maui. I don't see Kahana Falls. Is this correct?------------------ Juanita IP: Logged |

I'm an owner at Kahana Falls and, to my knowledge, we ARE still affiliated with RCI. Kahana Falls and more than 4 resorts in Maui are listed in the resort directory on the RCI website. I don't have a new catalog, so I don't know why you are seeing only 4 resorts. Are you looking at the last page of the section containing the list of resorts without associated pictures? Are you looking at the HGVC edition? It only lists 700 selected resorts not all the RCI resorts.Rick IP: Logged |

Juanita, I haven't got a new book but one guess of mine would be to look at the last page for Hawaii and see if you see a bunch listed for Maui there. BartIP: Logged |

Thanks Rick. You're correct. Appearently the HGVC edition doesn't lists all of the RCI resort. I wonder if this is a new thing or if they have always done it this way. ------------------ Juanita IP: Logged |

Juanita, there was a discussion about this on the Hotel board. Someone pointed out they missed ALL of Mexico! Go figure?? This is the first book I have gotten in two years. Rick IP: Logged |

Remember, there are alternatives to RCI and II. I've got extremely good service from Hawaii TimeShare Exchange and Trading Places.Missed all of Mexico?..........Unbelieveable. IP: Logged |

RickYou haven't had a book for 2 years and you are hard done by! I haven't had a world directory in 10 years! RCI Pacific stopped sending them out that long ago, then for a while they used to mail out a local Australia/New Zealand/Fiji one, but that stopped that a few years back so we have to rely on the web. However RCI may not send us books but they still bill dues! ------------------ Derek S [This message has been edited by DerekS (edited 04-11-2005).] IP: Logged |
