Well, we started out just the two of us...then our daughter and family of 5 got same week at their Embassy timeshare...then my sister, age 73 and my niece got a $379 rt direct to Maui so they also are coming & staying with us. How can we get a discount to take the whole group to Warren & Annabelle Magic Show. Next time we'll keep our mouth closed about Maui IP: Logged |

Aloha Cathy,I don't know about a discount, but I DO know that you can request tickets via the Concierge desk at The Whaler. We have personally steered several pairs of guests there the past couple years...and all were thrilled to get tickets to Warren and Annabelle. You may even wish to call that concierge desk before you arrive, reaching them via The Whaler "front desk." If there are any children in the group, note that they can only go to the family matinee, not the regular show, and another magician usually does the family show.------------------ Denise [This message has been edited by dbmMayer (edited 05-25-2005).] IP: Logged |

You need to call them for prices. 1-888-222-3601 I've never seen discounts of more than a dollar or two per person. ------------------ Phil [This message has been edited by philemer (edited 05-25-2005).] IP: Logged |

My suggestion is to skip the show. It is set up so after you get in you must wait about an hour before the magic show where the mysterious Annabelle plays the piano. Very Boring. The magic show by Warren is okay but not near as good as other shows we have seen.Go fishing or snorkelingIP: Logged |

I totally agree - this show has nothing to do with Hawaii.
Go to the Ulalena show instead! www.ulalena.com ------------------ Denise IP: Logged |

Different strokes for different folks. We loved the show and have gone twice. Not everything has to have an Hawaiian connection. IP: Logged |

Cathy, Don't skip the W & A show. It was a hoot. Hawaii is about relaxing and having fun. It's a funny show. Ulalena is also very good but it's more "intense" and the music is very loud. Go to both if you can. The Embassy has discount coupons for Ulalena.------------------ Phil IP: Logged |

Do go to see Warren and Annabelle's. We have been twice..once for the full deal and the second time we went a la carte and just had a dessert and the show. That was great and we saved money. I laughed til I cried. It is such a fun show..don't miss it!I looked around for discounts for you and did not find any. The first time we went we got a discount by sitting through the Shell presentation but I don't think they represent them anymore. You can save money by skipping the "parlor"/eating portion..but don't miss the show. When are you going to Maui? Still holding on to your PK? ------------------ Barb

Thanks. Yes, still own Pono Kai--going 2 wks this Xmas, then will probably sell it.Ulalena -- saw it once, it was OK. Warren & Annabelle - we have seen it twice, loved it both times and wanted to share it with the family. Probaby won't go because we were going to foot the bill, but we aren't THAT nice How about the new magic show at the Hawaiian hotel next to The Whaler. Anyone seen that?
