You shouldn't have any problems with your items after you arrive.

Depending upon which resort your staying in, you may receive additional discounts for their morning orientation, or what ever they choose to call theirs.

I would recommend the Smiths luau, any of the sunset dinner/cocktail cruises, and Jack Harter is our favorite Helicopter company, but there all good.

Enjoy your trip, Greg

Been to Kauai a couple of times, but haven't done a cruise or helicoptor tour. We have done the catamaran tour of the Napali Coast a couple of times, and really enjoyed that.

We have been to Smith's Luau and I second that recommedation. Arrive early so you have time to explore the grounds. They have gardens that you can tour by foot or on a tram. It was really very nice.

We've had success booking things after we arrived, but still, if you know what you want to do, I'd go ahead and book now, just to be safe.

We took a fixed wing tour of Kauai and enjoyed it more than the helo. Cheaper and guaranteed window seat. The week after our fixed wing flight a helo crashed on Kauai and killed all 5 people on board.

They aren't all the same.

HawaiiSaver has a number of Kauai activities for sale on ebay right now at great prices. We have bought several things from him and he is very reputable with great feedback -

Since you don't have time to waste, you could just use the "buy it now link" and not wait for the auction to end -

He's been sending a free Hawaiisaver card with your order too. It's new and doesn't have a lot on it now, but it's growing. I'm waiting for my second pair of helicopter GC's for Jack Squyres to come. We got almost 2 for one with the base price on their Ebay site. Four of us going so took two times to end up with all four tickets.

We were there Easter week and some of the NaPali boat cruises were full until the end of the week. If you want to get a good sunset dinner seat at either Beach House Restaurant or the Friday night seafood buffet at Princeville Hotel you'll want to make reservations ahead of time. Some of the ATV's and Zip line excursions were booking late into the week too.

We were on Kauai for two weeks in February and could not get a single whale watching cruise the first week. You might consider calling the companies to see how heavily they are booked before you arrive.

My family LOVED Captain Andy's Sunset Cruise! Check out their web-site, and book early! They don't overbook the boat, so it's a very comfortable cruise. They serve great dinner and drinks as well...and we got free t-shirts! :-)
