Has anyone stayed at this resort or know anything about it?We have added it to our ongoing search in hopes of pulling a week in Aruba about Jan. 8, 2005. Thank you, Bill and Martha ------------------ 2 Marriotts (MSW & MGV), 1 BlueGreen (Myrtle Beach), FF VIP Platinum IP: Logged |

We exchanged into there twice. The location is great (walk into town) and the private island is a plus. We'll miss going there since we bought at the surf club due to an expanding family. If they had 2 bedroom units at the Renaissance I would have considered buying there instead! The units only have a small refrigerator, a cooktop and a microwave but being so close to town, you have your pick of restaurants....IP: Logged |

We stayed at this resort and greatly enjoyed it. The location is very convenient, the pool is lovely and the private island is an added bonus. The negative factor in my opinion is the size of the rooms. It is not a bad size for a one bedroom but not having any 2 bedroom units makes it difficult as our children grow. It would not be convenient for 2 couples.IP: Logged |

I stayed at the hotel last Feb and loved it. I walked over to the ts and thought the grounds and the pool was nice. They even have a small beach and a private island which is nice but would not pay to go to the island but it is free if staying there. Didn't see the rooms but will tell you everyone was super friendly and when I got sick I have never seen as much kindness and concern from management. Great restaurants nearby, Rumbas, and Que Pasa are two of my favs. shaggy------------------ Leslie Michael IP: Logged |

Glad I dropped in today to read this. We have owned there for several years but will be visiting for the first time this October. We reserved two rooms ...one for us with our then 10 month old and one for the grandparents...should be a good time. Really looking forward to it now. Thanks! Any one else going in October?------------------ Cheryl IP: Logged |

Best part is the private island access. Be sure to take advantage of it.------------------ Dr. Al Hanna Stilwell, KS alhannahusker@yahoo.com IP: Logged |

I haven't been their yet but bought a week 2 and since we are going to Morritts Grand in December rented out my week in less than a week at a very good price, In addition I rented out my friends week and have several people who have indicated they will want to rent my week whenever I don't use it.Turned out to be a pretty good investment since I'm netting about a 25% return on my purchase price after my maintenance is paid. ------------------ Larry IP: Logged |
