I have 2 units booked in June at Casa Del Mar. One is 1109 and the other is 1403. I think from what I have read, 1403 will have a great view. I am not sure about 1109 but since it is the bottom floor, I assume it may have a pool view. Would it be wise to call Casa Del Mar and ask if It would be possible to get a room closer to 1403. Or should I leave well enough aone. I'm gratefull for any information or advise as I have naver been to this resort or Aruba for that matter. Thanks!! PatIP: Logged |

I'm sure some Casa Del Mar owners will weigh in. Since you haven't been to Aruba please visit www.aruba-bb.com and/or www.visitaruba.com. They have great info and don't cost to join - they use a sign up because they were getting some jokers who were obscene. LindaIP: Logged |

The two bedrooms are in the ocean-front building. I think they all have windows facing the ocean, although some will have partially obstructed views. The one-bedrooms are across the street, without ocean views. IP: Logged |

Pat: Unit 1403 will have a view of the pool and the ocean. Unit 1109 is on the first floor and does not have a view. If you go to www.casadelmar-aruba.com/presidential.html you will see a floorplan of the resort. Casa del Mar is a lovely resort and I'm sure you will enjoy your stay there. The beach in front of CDM is eroded, but you are welcome to use the beach and the palapas at my home resort next door, the Aruba Beach Club [This message has been edited by Anne S (edited 04-26-2005).] IP: Logged |
