Has anyone stayed there & what are the units like? What is the bedding sizes in each room? Did you like it & would you go back if you ahd a trade? Are the units small or large? I would be looking at getting 2 two bedrooms & 1 one bedroom for a family trip & was told it was a great place to stay & I could get the units if I did the search 2 years ahead which I will do! Any help you give I want to thank you ahead of time!!IP: Logged |

There are a number of TUG reviews as well as room layouts via a link to picture pages here. [This message has been edited by Karen G (edited 05-11-2005).] IP: Logged |

Cappy, We've stayed there. Nice resort. We had a 1 bedroom, 2 bath. I believe the bed was a queen. There was a sofa sleeper in the living room. No windows in our unit except a slider and small patio that over looked a beautiful garden. I think there are 2 or 3 pools. Adult, family and childrens. Nice restaurant. Grocery, deli, pharmacy, internet cafe, ice cream shop and laundry across the parking lot. You can walk down the road to catch the bus to town or take a taxi from there. Nice beach. If you are a real walker you can possibly walk to town on the beach. Every thing is very convenient. I have stayed at their Puerto Vallarta resorts also. Even the new one in Nuevo Vallarta. I've never been disappointed. Not top of the line but very nice. Would not hesitate to recommend it.------------------ buggie IP: Logged |

The units are for the most part generous in size. I was in a two bedroom for part of the time and a one bedroom the rest. Beds are queens. This used to be the nicest units in the UVC group until they opened the newest Flamingos in Nuevo Vallarta. They plan on building a 3rd new building in Cabo (like Falmingos) now as demand for Cabo is high with the UVC owners. These units look more like the one we bought at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach. The new UVC Cabo should be more like the units they built next door in Finestra. We booked again this year a bit late (two months ago) and got the week after Thnaksgiving that we wanted, but it was the last one left. You really do need to book early for UVC Cabo. ------------------ Windjammer landing, St Lucia; Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach, Cabo, Villa Del Palmar, Cabo/PV IP: Logged |

If you are going with children, there are lots of planned activities available so they are guarunteed of having fun. The units were a bit dark but were fairly large and well equipped. The daily cleaning was wonderful. The closeness to town affords you places to eat and things to see and do. A tour of the resort will give you a twenty percent discount on all food and services at the resort. Well worth the 90 mminutes if you can memorize the word "No!" IP: Logged |

Only the studio units have queen size beds. The 1 BR and 2BR units have king beds in each bedroom with a queen sleeper in the living room.IP: Logged |

Two questions on Villa del Palmar UVC at Cabo.I bought a 2 BR unit there on resale last year and have never stayed there. Got a great deal, or at least I think I did. I had toured the place previously. 1) How far in advance can and should you make your reservation as a Premier Member? I banked a week so I have 2 weeks I'd like to take next summer('06). 2) Any idea how well these units trade if you deposit them with RCI? Thanks for any insight !!
