Anybody got information as to an experience at the Elkhorn Resort. I am looking for a review as I am intending to spend some time there this summer. Any info and opinions welcomed.IP: Logged |

Stayed there 10 years ago and it was fine: not fancy but ok. The national park is nice. Golf, lake activities in summer. Quite low key but relaxing.IP: Logged |

We stayed there two years ago and had a great time. We have relatives in Dauphin and Brandon, so that was the mid-point to meet. The most unique thing there was that they had a "Doggie Bed and Breakfast"! We were in a two bedroom and the rooms were small and there was only one bathroom. We enjoyed watching the wild rabbits outside, and the unusual birds. We walked around Clear Lake and drove through Riding National Park. There is a good spa and restaurant there, and it is a popular place for horseback riding and carriage rides. It is definitely the right place to go for a ewst as there is not too much going on.IP: Logged |

This is a nice resort. We've stayed twice, once in the first week of January, a tad cold up here then. Nature is the best thing here. It is right at your door and there is plenty of it, with no crowds. Golf, horse stable, hiking, all are good. Also could be some great cultural events nearby if your timing is right. Town at Clear Lake is touristy but you are far enough away for it not to interfer. Hope you enjoy Elkhorn and Manitoba...glad your coming for a visit.------------------ Owner The Bay Club at Waikola and Celebrity Resorts Waikiki IP: Logged |
