My family hopes to exchange into a timeshare in Aruba for the week between Christmas and New Years. Are the two Marriott timeshares unbearably crowded that week? For example, can you get a chair by the pool and/or the Ocean without going down to reserve a chair at 6 or 7 A.M.?

Thanks for the info.

I think you may have a shot at a trade to Aruba that week but getting one of the Marriott's is probably unlikely. You need three things to get a Marriott that week.
1.A lot of luck
2.A very strong trading week to deposit with internal Marriott preference a big help
3.A not so bright owner who deposits a Marriott Aruba Christmas week in the first place.

The pool areas are crowded at normal times so I imagine that Christmas week they will be very crowded.

Don't lose sleep over the chairs. You will never see that trade
