Does anyone have any recent experience at this resort? The latest review is two years old. A good opportunity has presented itself, and pictures on the website are lovely...but that is all I have to go on.Any commentary would be appreciated. Maddle IP: Logged |

Sabal Palms was the first timeshare I ever purchased. I think it was in the early 80s. It has long since been sold so I have no recent experiences to share. But the one thing I liked about it can't really change and that is its location. Number one, External Location - it is an easy drive to Disney. Number two, Internal Location - the timeshare units are right next to the Marriott World Center. It is a really easy walk (unlike Royal Palms where you really need to take a tram) to the main part of the hotel. Being right next to the World Center gives you easy access to the hotel's pool, restaurants, shops, game room, etc.IP: Logged |

Thank you - can you use the pools at World Center? Also - what condition are the units? Have they been updated recently? The pictures are beautiful, but of course I expect the website pictures to put their best foot forward. Thanks - Maddle IP: Logged |

We stayed at the Royal Palms this February and while we were there, we walked to Sabal Palms, and asked to see one of the units. We were impressed. They were nicely furnished and the pool area is very nice. It is a very short walk to the hotel, which has a huge pool complex. I think you would enjoy this small resort with full hotel ammenities avaiable just a stroll away.Dori IP: Logged |

We have stayed at Royal Palms (on an exchange) and at Sabal Palms (on a rental several years ago). I would choose Sabal Palms over the others on the World Center Property simply because of the proximity to the main hotel. The hotel pool is terrific and an easy stroll from Sabal Palms.IP: Logged |
