The Ask Interval International forum was established as a means of posting questions to and getting direct answers from Craig Urbine, Vice President Member Services, Interval International. At the end of 2003 Craig announced the end of his participation in this forum. No replacement representative has been provided by Interval International, so this forum has been closed to further posts. For current discussion about II see the other forums on the board, especially Exchanging.

The information in existing posts is being left in place as much of it is valuable for future reference.

In II. I noticed the format changed a little since, I last used it. I noticed they chanced the shop button to search... Also, I am seeing undeemed deposit next to my week.

Thanks!

Edit: undeemed should be unredeemed.

When II is informed by your resort that you have a week that is available to deposit into their system the web site list the week's status as "Open" and both the "Search" and "Deposit" buttons are available. Once you transfer the right to use your week to II by depositing it, the "Open" status changes to "Unredeemed Deposit” and only the "Search" button is shown. Once you search, choose and confirm an exchange the deposit is redeemed. If you make an ongoing request the status changes to "Pending Request" and the buttons are "Search" and "Details".

The short and sweet is that an "Open" week is one you have not yet deposited for exchange and an "Unredeemed Deposit" is a week you have given up but have not yet used to confirm an exchange.

Thanks! I guess, it just looks different this time. Makes sense though.
