DW & I saw it this afternoon, at matinee prices! There were only about 50 people in the audience.Overall, I thought it was a good movie. Much better than the last two (1 & 2), almost as good as the original. The acting is wooden and dialog stilted, especially between Anakin and Padme; but this is normal for Lucas' films. I honestly don't think that the actor who plays Anakin can act his way out of a paper bag; and thought so after the last one (part 2) also. But the action is great, and they do a wonderful job explaining how Anakin becomes Darth Vader.
There were a number of 6-10 year olds in the audience with their parents. Of course, you have to know your kid; but if they don't get too frightened, it's probably OK. There's a scene between Anakin and Obi Wan towards the end that's somewhat violent, and takes place in a place that looks like fire & brimstone. That's probably the one scene you should be concerned about. But again, if you think your kid can handle something that dark, the rest should be fine.
Overall, two thumbs up.
