Fantastic! So many surprises! (Except for Arz... I knew he wasn't going to make it.)

I would never have guessed what "The Others" had in mind!

And the twist with Danielle was very good too.

How long do we have to wait now?

I have to admit I dozed off and missed some of it. I saw them take the boy from the raft, but didn't understand it. Was there anything suggesting why they did it?

I missed the retrieval of the baby.

I have to say I was a little disappointed in the finale. I don't know what I expected, but that ending wasn't it. It didn't leave me on the edge of my seat like I thought it would, which doesn't mean I'm not anticipating next season. I am excited for the show to start again.

Unfortunately, I thought it was pretty predictable. The minute Danielle said that she heard them say that they were coming for "the boy," I knew they meant Walt. So, I knew what was going to happen as soon as the blip started coming back. The show description alerted me to the fact that Danielle was going to take the baby, and I figured that Arntz would blow himself up. So, not too much in the way of surprises for me. It was an OK final episode, but not as good as some of the midseason episodes.

I was totally disappointed in the finale. I need to have some closure not more questions. All along you guess as to what might happen in the end. I now feel the end will never come and have only been manipulated so why watch anymore. By fall I will neither remember details nor care anymore. Stories are real easy to write if you don't have to pull all the plot details together to make a (somewhat) believable story. I for one have crossed lost off my fall watching list.

I thought it was really good. The pirates surprised me. They must be "the others" and live inside the hatch.

Can't wait until next season.

Check out this site with info about the "numbers"!
http://www.4815162342.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=369

These two are eerie:

- WHEN HURLEYS CAR BROKE DOWN THEY SHOWED KPH GO FROM 16 TO 15 THEN CUT AWAY AND WHEN THEY CUT BACK IT WENT FROM 8 TO 4. THE DISPLAY ALSO SAID 23 DEGREES CELCIUS AND 42 KM. (4 & 8 & 15 & 16 & 23 & 42)

- HURLEY RIDES PAST 6 SOCCER PLAYERS IN THE AIRPORT, EACH UNIFORM HAD ONE OF THE NUMBERS. (4 & 8 & 15 & 16 & 23 & 42)

I didn't watch much in the beginning. The website above mentions 4 as being the number of years Locke was in a wheelchair. What's that about?

Wow! I can't believe that the executive producers are going to this degree to have these numbers appear in the show. I guess I'll have to pay closer attention

Think about it. That website really stretches to find the numbers in everything. The numbers are 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 8. Everything except 0, 7 and 9. So, of course you can find most of the numbers in everything.

Web site is interesting, though. Just another look at the numbers thing.

Locke was unable to walk when he boarded the plane. I know he had an operation which he was tricked into having done. But then they don't get us to where his legs became paralized...but they were. That must be for next season!

Will they show re-runs of the entire first season of Lost this summer? I have several friends who want to start watching it, but IMHO they'll enjoy it much more if they can start from the beginning.

We can't wait for next season!

1) Go to http://www.oceanic-air.com/

2) At the bottom where it says "travelers", type in the mysterious numbers - 4 / 8 / 15 / 16 / 23 / 42

3) You'll get to the seating chart. On the bottom of the diagram where it lists the rows, click those same numbers in order for a short, choppy video preview of next season.

4) When the video is done, you get sent to another web site with a pretty cool Flash movie of the island beach. If you go back to the seating chart page, and click on Seat A in each of the mysterious number rows, you get more stuff about the passengers.

Hurley's hotel room in Australia - 2342
Guy's hat he bought the scooter from had a logo for Crazy 8's casino on it and Hurley paid him 16 hundred dollars for the scooter

More about the oceanic "web" site:

If you go to www.oceanic-air.com home page and roll the cursor around the top half of the "important announcement ALL FLIGHTS CANCELLED" on the right side.a grey bay will appear on the right hand side.

Place your cursor over the grey bar until a cross hair appears. Hold down the mouse button and drag the bar left and up. It's a jpeg image of a page of the script from the finale.

After you're done looking at the script, be sure to drag it back to the right so it disappears, because there is one more thing I found.

Roll your cursor over the bottom half of the "important message ALL FLIGHTS CANCELLED", and a message from one of the passengers will appear. It's very difficult to read since it is underneath the text of the important message. Move your cursor over the first letter of the passenger message and hold your mouse button down and scroll to the bottom so you can read the entire message.

If I find anything else, I'll post. This is great!!!

Jerry

Melanie --

I would imagine that ABC is behind this website. They probably have a team working on things like this to keep interest in LOST at a very high level.
