Given the fact that we are starting to get a lot of spillover from the closing of the worldmark board, I was thinking it would be prudent to start a board devoted exlusively to Worldmark. That way, those Worldmark expatriates would have somewhere to continue the discussions they started over there. Or, possibly consider a slightly broader board, dedicated to Worldmark, Fairfield and Sunterra.IP: Logged |

Hi, there! Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, but...If I become a TUG member (by paying the $$), will I have access to features like we had on the WM4M? My favorite one was the "email me all replies to this post" feature. I also liked the private message capabilities, so you didn't have to share your info with everybody. I read some of the FAQs before I registered as a non-member, but I don't recall seeing anything about this topic... Thanks so much! Stacy IP: Logged |

I think that a lot of WM owners would appreciate their own board here on TUG. I came across this question by accident, however, since I very rarely look at this section of the BBS.Maybe you'd get more responses if you posted the question under the "All Points Systems" board? IP: Logged |

I probably would, but this is definitely a topic devoted to TUG Features, and it would not be appropriate to post it there. So, I posted it here, regardless of whether anyone actually sees it. IP: Logged |

Now, this is just my own humble opinion...but as far as I'm concerned, Tug is only $ not $$ I also belong to the WM4M but am an active TUG member and I believe the $15/year (or in my case $25/3 years) was the BEST investment ever. At least here you don't have to worry about Carol Ann or anybody else deleted your opinion because it does not flatter the company they work for or that sponsors the website. ------------------ The only reward you get for a job well done is more work! I would love to have a TUG board devoted to WorldMark. I have stayed at one WorldMark resort, and ever since then I'm wanting to buy WorldMark credits. The board would be a great way to find out more about WorldMark. If there isn't a TUG board, maybe a Yahoo group? Suzy IP: Logged |

I agree with having a TUG board for WM owners. Due to the fact I am also a FF owner, I wouldn't mind that either. DebbyIP: Logged |

The way ANY specific resort group can get its own forum is by demonstrating there is a need for one. If and when Worldmark-related posts start taking up a significant portion of an existing forum, a Worldmark-specific forum will be considered. ------------------ Doug Wilson, "The Makai Guy" TUG Volunteer Coordinator & BBS Administrator Click here for my email address -- You might enjoy a visit to my North Shore Kauai website or my Yellowstone 2003 Photo Gallery IP: Logged |

This is exactly how the South Africa and Marriott boards were created.Too many complaints/comments about other boards being monopolized by each of these groups. This same topic has come up before about Hilton, Fairfield and a few others before. Boards were set up and after a while taken down again after interest waned. If either/both of South Africa or Marriott boards show disinterest, they will progably be absorbed back into a "general" BBS topic as well. ...Mark quote: Originally posted by Makai Guy: The way ANY specific resort group can get its own forum is by demonstrating there is a need for one.
