Talk about a business plan! After spending way too many hours on this board and always seeing the same people, I decided to develop a new timeshare based on our own resources. Let's see, we have Denise in San Jose, Denise in Northern California, Chris is somewhere...As the proud owner of a lovely four bedroom house with no kids at home anymore, I'll be offering one week stays in lovely Randolph, NJ, a mere one hour from Manhattan. The Manhattan Club may be a drag to trade into, but I can assure you that with Stevewood, the schedule is wide open. There is a lovely full kitchen, but please be advised that we are kosher so leave the bacon at home. Oh, and bring your own sheets, but we actually have a full washer and drier. In lieu of confusing points, each time you deposit a week at your home, I'll immediately cut you a check for $7.50. You can spend it immediately or feel free to let this account build up and use the money during your vacations. In about 10 years, you should be able to afford the taxi into Manhattan. Also please be advised that we are offering two units (bedrooms) with "Street View" and one with "Garden View" (my backyard). It is assumed that the Garden View will be harder to snag. If and when we decide to offer the units for sale, you can be assured that there will be a premium for my backyard; priority will be given to those who sign up the fastest. I'm sure there are questions and some things I haven't covered, but give me a break - I just thought this up in the bathroom a mere 5 minutes ago. And PLEASE tell me that you realize this is not serious! IP: Logged |

Can we be an affiliate resort? Our lovely unit is located in Malibu, CA...hey it is a highly desirable SoCal beach location! I have a 10 x 10 foot guest room with a fold out single sofa bed overlooking the beautiful noisy Pacific Coast Highway, sorry no ocean views but at least it is not a parking lot view, think of the moving cars as entertainment!------------------ Elyse IP: Logged |

Elyse-I'd love to offer you membership but please be advised that I can't imagine Malibu trading as successfully as New Jersey - especially given that I'm the local chair of II (Inmyhome International). In terms of promotional stays - the bonus will only be $1.50. I need lots of feedback to determine if I should tell my wife about this! IP: Logged |

Before I join this elite club, are any of you going to offer frequent buyer discounts/perks? I think it would be a real selling point. ;-) ChristyIP: Logged |

How bout I affiliate as well and offer my beautiful enclosed porch in beautiful downtown Rancho Domiguez, California...nesteld in a lovely secluded neighborhood inside the little known Watson Land Company Industrial Park....Safe and secure with 24 hour gated security....lovely views of North Long Beach and trendy Compton, CA....centrally located a mere 20 miles from either Disneyland/Knotts Berry Farm or Universal Studio's and Hollywood...The unit provided has a snug Queen Sized Bed and ez acess to internet services via my somewhat cluttered but clean office area...You look out from the porch to the lovely garden view in which there is a 8 person spa....You may wish to clean out the standing water in the spa since it has not been used in a year or so....and if you do so, I would be able to offer a bonus week...**** Steve....I thought your post was hillarious! Does the backyard include four papalas or will we be required to stand in line at 6:30 am to reserve one? IP: Logged |

Might be getting to many West Coast "resorts", but I'd like to affiliate with the following:Jayco Pop-Up Trailer. Amenities include: Shower, Toilet, 6 gallon water heater, Fridge, Sleeps 6,Stove that can be moved outside. I'll even throw in all utilities. Currently has a "parking lot" view but for a few more dollars per night, I can upgrade you to Park View. (i.e. I'll move the trailer to the street and you can see the park.) Recreational activities include Los Alamitos Race Track (Horses) about 1/4 mile away. If you climb up on my roof, you can see Disney Land's fireworks show during the summer. Matthew IP: Logged |

Thanks all - it's good to laugh together. My favorite posting was the one about the palapas! My partner owns a Marriott in Aruba and I'm constantly amazed at the thought of getting up at 6:30 AM on vacation! IP: Logged |

Well, with our sunny Stockton property, we provide these added amenities so you can feel like you're at home away from home- (2) loving, but sometimes moody, preteens, 2 furry golden retrievers and a cat. In exchange, we'll provide full access to mini-bar and ample wine supply. ChristyIP: Logged |

I'd like to sign up! With my first name, I figure I should be a natural for the Stevewood exchange network.Beautiful Rocky Mountain views from your room. If you lean out the window, you can even see the golf course...and horses grazing peacefully in the nearby meadow. It's the best of town & country...and only an hour from Park City. The highlight, though...2 friendly cocker spaniels that serve as host and hostess...and they LOVE company!!! Anyone want to trade their nice beach place that allows dogs??? Steve
