Can anyone tell me the difference between a 2 bedroom and a 2 bedroom plus at the Valdero Lodge? The desk clerk told me the plus was more luxurious, but wasn't able to give me any info on the sleeping arrangements. Both have a max occ of 6. Is this unit going to be large enough for 6 college students? Any input would be helpful.

Just food for thought RE: Breckenridge / Valdoro.
Watch for the future possibility of altitude sickness in anyone who visits your week there. Valdoro is located relatively high for a first timer and sleeping there for the first time if not acclimated can be hazardous. I would consider this carefully before purchasing. If already informed about this concern, please disregard...

The main difference between a 2BR and a 2BR plus is the spectacular mountain views complete with an extended deck which includes a private six-person hot tub, gas BBQ and teak patio furniture. (These units have three hot tubs in total, two indoor and one outdoor).

For more detailed info go to: http://www.valdoro.com

As for the altitude sickness, yes this is a possibility. We are owners of a fixed week and visit annually. We make sure we get plenty of fluids the first day (stay away from alchohol) and take it easy. We always hit the slopes on day two and have not experienced any problems. If altitude sickness is a concern, you should ski the lower elevations on your first day.

The cover parking is a nice bonus. The couples massage is great. And the out side hot tub in the 2 bedroom plus is wonderful.
Oh yeah, there is snow skiing during the winter. If you can pull yourself away from the resort.

Yes, there should be enough room for six students. Look at the floor layout on their website.

Thanks everyone for the input. Ending up booking a 2 bdr. plus...this is for bronze season so it was only 250 pts. more for three night! What a deal! The website was very helpful. My son was very excited to see the resort and the layout of the rooms. This will be his first experience using our HGVC points, since we just purchased in June of this year. I'm sure they will have a great time. Thanks again.
