I have been reading lately that it looks like that I can either rent out, or give my rentals out to others. In the past, I have always been under the impression that the owner must be there during the visit (at least for check in on the first day). Has this changed ? Can I use the points to book travel for others ... or even rent the weeks ? Then your guests will be able to check in. You can also get a guest confirmation that reflects the guests' names, though it is not necessary to have at check-in (just their IDs). If you make a reservation online yourself, you can also just input your guests' names and the email confirmation will have their names on the reservation. You'll need to pay RCI a fee for a guest certificate, though; I can't recall what the current fee is. I guess you don't read your member guide terms thoroughly, huh? But keep in mind that RCI rules prohibit *renting* of weeks you obtain through an RCI exchange.
