Who is bidding $8,800 for a Charter Club flex week on Ebay?! Wish we hadn't unloaded ours for under $6000 a few years ago! This is a misleading Ebay auction. The week # on the deed must be #51, but that does not guarantee 7000 pt every year since this is a FLEX week.

I thought the same. If folks believe the ad "7000 points per year" then the current bid amount makes sense. I am surprised that such an experienced broker would make such a mistake.

I emailed the broker and asked how they could claim it a 7000 pt week. Her reply was " just reserve week 51 and get 7000 points every time".

Its not quite that easy and if you dont get it. You get 5000 points.

She advertises quite a bit, you would think she would know better! Fact there is a poster who shows up every now and then praising her. I don't know, but it just would seem she would know better.

Is week 51 in Florida an event week? Because if it is, it can only be held by the owner of that week unless they exchange it.

With a flex week, you could end up with 3500 pts! You can put your request in for your flex week reservation one year in advance and hope for the best. This is an intentionally deceptive ad.

Jim and Cindy-check out the Charter Club week 51 on redweek, that says it’s worth 3500 Silver HGVC Club points listed for $9,900.

I am not a redweek member, so I can't see the details, but looks like the same unit and seller as the ebay auction. I did see on redweek a float week listing for $6500 for anyone that wants to save $2300 over ebay.

At least in the Tug classifieds it’s listed as a 2 br silver for $9,900, no points listed and just says reserved for week 51 and is flex time.

Thanks for reminding all of us to check out everything before we buy. Recently we followed up on a listing for $6,500. When the agent emailed me, the price had jumped to $9,900. Somehow this "error in price" had not been picked up.

Most of us are looking for the bottom line price. What I keep finding is "bait and switch".

And the reserve (which I'm sure was 9.9K) wasn't met so it never sold! I recently purchased a flex week at Charter Club and had contacted this same seller while I was looking. She basically blew me off when I said I wanted to spend in the 6K ballpark and told me that nothing in the Charter Club sold for under 9K or 10K (she was way off!)

I own at Charter, I asked for week 51, I got it with the 7000 points (first time in 3 years, before I got 5000 points)
