Also, isn't Marriott incorporating the heavenly beds into their hotel rooms? Well it may not be the exact line of heavenly beds but something very similar. I imagine the rational is to compete with Starwood.------------------ Nicole IP: Logged |

Sheraton calls them "sweet sleeper beds" but they are the same as the Westin "heavenly beds" and they are both extremely comfortable.IP: Logged |

Denise -- My wife and I stayed at a Sheraton in San Diego last fall and the "Sweet Sleeper Bed" was in no way as comfortable as the "Heavenly Bed" that is in Westin properties. Jerry

No kidding - that's too bad. I thought they were the same mattress. I would love to buy one when we need a new mattress. ------------------ Denise IP: Logged |

I stayed in a Sheraton Suites in Orlando last month and while the gal on the desk told me it was a 'Heavenly Bed' it wasn't anything like the one in the Westin Peachtree in Atlanta where I stayed the previous night. Westin's was considerably better than Sheraton's IMO. In March I stayed at the Westin Cincinnati and the bed was as good as the Westin in Atlanta too. The Heavenly Shower in Westins are nice two with 2 shower heads and a shower curtain rod that curves out in the middle of the tub so you don't touch it when showering -- I liked that because you never know how often hotels clean or replace shower curtains. The Sheraton Orlando didn't have that either. There was a 'Heavenly' sales brochure in the Westin and I called 'Heavenly Bed' to see if I could get one sent to Canada, and was surprised that she told me they were actually made in Canada...yet the price was $100 more! ($1100 plus S&H for a queen mattress & box spring). The sheeting was about the same price, but made in U.S.A. So...figure on $2400 for a queen bed with all the trimmings. Hate to say it, but the 'new' Marriott mattresses are not nearly as good as the Westin Heavenly Beds IMO. Brian ------------------ Those who dream most, do most. The web site doesn't really say what the mattress is made of . Is the top layer of it memoryfoam? a feather bed topper? OR ????IP: Logged |

Kay...call 1-877-777-5418 and they'll probably be able to tell you. Online shopping has its limits unless your really know exactly what you want. I aways have unanswered questons when buying online, especially for products you have to 'live' with (or on) for years. Brian ------------------ Those who dream most, do most. IP: Logged |
