Hi,Just wondering if fellow SVO owners know this answer. If I own at 2 or more SVO properties that require the SVN Fee (I believe it is $99 per year), do they charge this fee for EACH property, or is it one charge for ALL properties? IP: Logged |

It isn't clear from my documentation. I only own at one location - WMH - but have two weeks, one in my name, the other in my wife's. We get charged the full amount on one week ($124 this year) and an amount of $30 on the other. I'm not clear if this is to cover my wife's membership, or the fact that the second week is 'cheaper'.Common sense (?!) suggests that once you paid to join, that's it and you shouldn't get hit for every week/location that you own. According to the SVN advice article, it's $99.00 ("$124.00 this year" according to damorgan/David) for the first one, $30.00 for the second and no charge for the rest. ------------------ Marina IP: Logged |

The information from the article is correct, with one exception. If one of you units is at Westin Ka`anapali Ocean Resort Villas your SVN membership is $103.40. I called Starwood to see why it was such an "odd" amount, but I can't remember the reasoning he gave me. For eveyone who is an EOY owner (like myself), you still pay your SVN membership fee even during non-use years. Jerry IP: Logged |
