Starwood owners -

I would like to compile as many StarPoint values for the different weeks/resorts within Starwood. StarOption values are posted by Starwood, but StarPoint values don't seem to be listed anywhere.

Please post or email any Starpoint values you know of so I can list them in my updated FAQ. For example, my Gold Kierland week is worth 48,000 StarPoints - 26,000 for the large side and 22,000 for the small side. Thanks!

Chris, we have never converted to points, but this is what we were told by our salesman when we purchased:

Kaanapali:
2 bdm. lock-off - 80,000 SP
Studio - 37,800 SP
1 BR - 46,200 SP

Hopefully, someone else can confirm, because I don't know if this is right.

Chris --

Sheraton Mountain Vista
2 Bedroom Lock-Off
Winter Season

85,000 Star Points (I'm not certain how this breaks down with the Premium and Deluxe).

Thanks for compiling this!

Also...

Denise, did you ever determine why the value of the two halfs at WKORV are more than the value of the hole unit (46,200 + 37,800 = 84,000)?

My 1 bedroom Deluxe platinum-season unit at Kierland translates to 33,500 Starpoints. In my notes from our presentation, I show the 1 bedroom Premium platinum-season at 38,000, and the 2 bedroom gold-season at 48,000.

For anyone unsure of their StarPoints value, log on to MyStarCentral. On the home page, select 'your information' then select your ownership week if you have more than one, your Starpoints value (amongst other things) for the week will be shown there.

I have a 2Br lock-off, gold season, at WMH. Starpoints 26,000 and 22,000, 48,000 total.

MyStarCentral only shows the TOTAL StarPoints if I convert both sides of my 2 bdm. - does it show the breakdown of each side of the unit for your resort?

I emailed them and got the definitive answer:

WKORV 2 bdm. OV lock-off:

Total - 80,000
Large side - 46,200 Starpoints.
Small side - 33,800 Starpoints.

Thanks for getting the real scoop on StarPoints at WKORV.

I just can't believe that the SALESMAN was wrong. I always believed what they said was the gospel truth!
