I've heard that all of the villas for the first project will be sold out by the end of next week -- anyone else hear this?

It was probably me. It was what my friends were told when they purchased mid-last month. So it sounds about right, timing wise. Shall we all do the math and figure out what the whole place sold for??? Pick an average price for a 2bdrm lockoff and take it from there?

According to my sales person. They are all sold out of the 2BR OV. The are a few remaining units in the 2BR OF and deluxe categories. Maui is expecting to be sold out by the end of next week.

After sell-out, they will move onto selling the next resort (the one right next door). Apparently, it will be smaller units for the same money.

I was told by my salesperson pretty much the same thing, except that the units next door will be smaller with a bit of a price increase.

I hadn't heard that they would be smaller units.

It will be interesting to see what, if anything, happens to the resale market when the resort is sold out.

I don't think the units are smaller. Here are the floor plans:

What is the difference in prices now compared to pre-construction prices. It's hard to know whether to buy pre-construction or wait for resales. Just wondered since it looks like they will start selling Kauai soon.

The best price is going to be a resale at the current WKORV - I am sure prices at the new resort are going to be much higher. Although they have been few and far between, the resales are out there and I am going to estimate that you would save 10K, buying resale, rather than preconstruction prices at the new resort. It will be interesting to find out.

Shelley, I'm guessing somewhere in the neighborhood of $500 million, give or take.
