RCI Southern Africa and Tugger/SA timeshare owners' loss is most definitely a new employer's gain. Tony deserves only the best.
Good Luck to him.

Tony, Tony, Tony...

What are we going to do without you? You have been wonderfully helpful, knowledgeable, extremely friendly, and most of all, exceptionally fast. You will MOST certainly be missed by us all.

Congratulations Tony on your new job (and baby # 2!!). If anyone deserves this, it's you. Thank you for all of your hard work. I, for one, sincerely appreciate it.

Thanks for the post, Ron. This is awful news for Tuggers, but we can only hope that Tony has trained his replacement(s) to give the same excellent customer service that he was known for.

Ron, be sure to tell Tony we'll cetainly miss him, but wish him only the best with his new job and the new baby coming.

Ron,

How could you let this happen?!?!? There are precious few individuals we could count on in this industry (actually, in most other industries as well). Tony was a rock. We'll miss him.

I am delighted for Tony. He and his family certinly deserve the good opportunity.

However, I am holding a pity party for me and a virtual pity party for all tuggers who want to join in.

Yes, I want to join in on the Pity Party!
I think most of us SA owners have come to think of Tony as a tremendous resource, and somewhat of a stable anchor for all the unknowns in the SA/RCI scenario. Tony, we will miss you so much, but wish you the best in your new venture and with your new bambino.

This is very sad to us, but great for Tony and his family. The new company certainly is getting a jewel! Tony was always able to get done what no one else seemed to be able to do, and with pleasure!

Tony has been a great asset to us SA owners. He's the person who made cross-world transactions happen successfully at the drop of an email. Congratulations on your new mission, I'm certain you will continue your great success. And thank you for all you've done to help us!

I was so shocked at the news myself. I even offered to pay towards a salary increase if this was the problem. No it's not money ... the reason is improvement.

He has been offered an outstanding job with South Africa's biggest bank, First National (Barclays to those overseas. He has been appointed as an account executive.

From my experience with Tony I found out that he one of those people who, no matter what he does, he will succeed. He is definitely a wonderful people person and he really cares ... it showed in his efficiency on the job and the way he handled people.

Yes, Tony, the best of good luck to you.

Ron, Fairfields.

Tony

I've been working with you for the past 6 years and was very shocked when I heard the news. We will all miss your efficiency, your hard work, your loyalty and your friendship. I personally think RCI South Africa is losing one of the best staff members they ever had.

I hope that you will be really happy in your new job & congratulations with the new baby.

You will be missed

Ron,
Thanks for the explanation about Tony's new job. Tho I will really miss him, it is wonderful news to hear that he has been given such a great opportunity to use his skills. I have to admit that there are some things in life more important than how fast my SA resorts get deposited to my account.

We are all really happy for Tony, his wife, Danielle and baby X. But---we sure will miss him.

Wow, just look at the wonderful message Marlene (Mt. Amanzi) wrote about Tony. Marlene, you can also certainly pat yourself on the back for me. You are one of very few people in SA who somehow manages to get our weeks into RCI's spacebank within a day or two.

Case in point, I paid my Mt. Amanzi fees for the 2006 a few weeks ago. Within one day of my payment, Marlene had that week in the spacebank. I have also paid 2006 fees for Perna Perna Mossel Bay and DK. I'm still waiting for those weeks to be spacebanked. I sent an email to the new address listed by Tony to inquire about the weeks. I have not received a response as of yet. So, there you have it.
