I received an e-mail from Dikhololo in early March indicating that they had charged my credit card for the 2006 levies. My credit card reflected the charge. I have e-mailed twice since then asking them to deposit my week into my RCI account, and gave them the number. I've received no reply, and the week is not in my RCI account. Any suggestions? Thanks!IP: Logged |

I don't own at Dik, but I bet your problem is the same as mine. I have ALWAYS had to call RCI South Africa directly to get THEM to deposit my weeks after the levies are paid. There's some kind of disconnect between the resorts, RCI SA, and RCI North America. Most North American RCI folks seem to be unaware of the problem, and you'll be left hanging for weeks.Sometimes I have emailed Tony Letizia at RCI SA(tletizia@rci.co.za) He is often very helpful in that regard. I normally cc the people at my SA resorts so everyone knows what's going on. This is the main hassle with owning in SA, but once you realize you must contact RCI SA directly to get your intervals deposited, everything is fairly straightforward. Let me know if this does NOT work, but it should. Don't forget when you call that their time zone is opposite to ours. ------------------ Time wounds all heals. IP: Logged |

I thought Tony L. left RCI/SA some time ago. Not sure who's replaced him, but thought I saw a thread about this a few months ago. Yes, it does seem that you need to work directly with the RCI/SA person (whoever that is now) in order to get your weeks deposited fairly quickly.IP: Logged |

Tony has left RCI SA. write thespecialists@rci.co.za and they will handle your problem. I did and the next day my weeks were in my account.thespecialists is all one word. Hope this helps, Dave IP: Logged |

Holy smokes! I didn't know Tony had left RCI -- thanks for the update. Knowing who to contact at RCI SA to deposit one's weeks is crucial info.Amazing how much can change in a few months if one doesn't happen to visit this website. ------------------ Time wounds all heals. IP: Logged |

We have had one week outstanding that we have not been able to get spacebanked. We have contacted everyone at Dikhololo that we know of:marelize@dikhololo.co.za madelein@dikhololo.co.za and judy@dikhololo.co.za To no avail- they all say take it up with RCI South Africa. The specialists@rci.co.za and go@rci.co.za e-mails did not work, giving us this error: (Your message Subject: "Getting a Dikhololo week assigned to my RCI Account" could not be delivered to some or all of the intended recipients. User - (550 Rule imposed mailbox access for go@rci.co.za refused) User - (550 Rule imposed mailbox access for thespecialists@rci.co.za refused)So I guess I'll try the faxes on their website +27 11 258 0378 / 0379 IP: Logged |

I FINALLY received my spacebank...I paid for it in early February and was given an October 2005 week. I assume that this was for my 2005 week as I waited until this year to bank it. Now that I want my 2006 week, I hope that someone there can understand that I paid for my 2005 week and not my 2006 week. This is driving me nuts.------------------ Danielle IP: Logged |

I got an e-mail from Jenny saying that my 2006 week had been deposited with RCI (I gave my 2005 week to DAE instead - been getting better trades there). This was April 13th, but (for various reasons) I didn't actually check until *now*, and it's there! No other e-mails or anything, but then that was almost a month ago...!Bart IP: Logged |

Just an update: Both my Sudwala and Durban Sands units were deposited to RCI after I paid my m/f, without personally having to deal with Tony's replacement. Both resorts did a great job...all was taken care of within 2 weeks. IP: Logged |
