M/L. Thanks, I had not noticed. As posted here: http://www.tstips.com/vforum/showthread.php?p=14963&posted=1#post14963 "Back to my hillbilly dial-up, and back to the topic.
I have now done these searches many thousands of times. I still am amazed at how little activity there is. The same weeks at the same resorts continue to be available day-after-day, going on for weeks, with very little fluctuation. SW FL for Jan., 2007, has been 7,8 or 9 for 40 days. Resorts on the Beach for Jan., 2007, has been steadily increasing, as one would expect at this distance out, but has been 44-47 for the last 20 days. It is not like there is a great demand and stuff is disappearing as quickly as it is deposited. The difference between now and three years ago is that the nicer resorts never appear any more. The lesser resorts seem to appear as frequently as ever."

I don't mean this to be tooting my own horn because I advanced from kindergarten a little while back, but it just struck me what that means, the amount of committment it takes, from anyone. I'll go away now. and I don't even work here

I am assuming that desirability is a somewhat inverse relationship to availability = the more desirable the less available. The one exception to that would be the Panhandle, which has far fewer resorts than the other areas, yet has relatively good avaibility for the number of resorts in the area. For January '06 & '07, here's what I'm seeing today: NE: '06-28, '07-17 SE: '06-18, '07-26 NW (Tampa): '06-10, '07-16 Sarasota: '06-1, '07-8 SW: '06-1, '07-7 Panhandle: '06-5, '07-4 Keys: '06-0, '07-1
Area Availability Update I see I last posted this 3 weeks ago. Since then stuff is starting to move.
SW, Sarasota and The Keys are Zero. NE still has the most, but is down to 20. SE is down to 8. NW and Panhandle only have three each.
