I am also getting the same response when I try to log in...I know my info is correct...RCI will not accept my log in info...I have not been able to access RCI weeks to search for an exchange for at least a week....when will this be fixed????

I can log in but when I try to do searches on particular properties I continually get "Invalid Resort ID". The ID's entered are not invalid. I put in a group and keep trying and each time different ones in the group come up "invalid resort ID". This is very anoying to say the least.
As has been said in the past, am sorry to sound off on you but you are our only outlet at this point where we can get any kind of response.
Also over the last two weeks have had trouble with search results coming back empty on searches where I know there is always inventory. Because of this it makes the whole search process suspect. How can RCI expect its customers to use and trust a system where you only get valid results sporadically and you don't know when the results are correct or not.
While I realize that all systems incure problems, most companies deal with problems as they arise and they don't keep coming back.
Please pass on to your WEB folks that they really need to do a better job if they want to restore customer confidence and satisfaction in the company.

This is getting so annoying. I can't even log-in to the points website this morning. How much longer can we expect this to go on?

You don't really expect an answer do you? They are playing dumb with this and ignore questions, emails and even on the phone say they "aren't aware of any current problems". They would be far better off shutting down the web site and rebuild it from scratch. Relaunch it in 2006 after complete testing when it might actually work. Until they do you shouldn't trust anything from it as it is completely unreliable. Go back to the phones and hope they are staffed up for all the calls. Hard to believe this is a billion dollar operation.

This is one of those times when I'm glad I didn't buy into RCI Points. I just tried a search with a friends acct. and, of course, there is nothing available in all of Ca. or Fl. Ya, right. I hope you are showing upper management these messages, Madge.

My Weeks acct. has been working fine lately.

Don't know if this is a clue or worthless info, but the Points Weeks Reservations were working just fine around 5ish EST. I put a week on hold and went back to look for another week at the same resort and started getting the system error mentioned above. Got that a couple of times, went away for a while, then couldn't even log in for a bit. When I was finally able to log in, I couldn't complete any searches. Everything was VERY slow, much like yesterday.

I don't know if there is something unique to the time of day or if I just happened to hit the system at the time it went belly up.

Hi everyone,

I've responded to the fact that numerous problems are still occurring here and here.

Our technical staff are trying to get the Points site functioning again; however, until some major changes are made this year to our infrastructure, we may continue to see sporadic problems. I am truly sorry for the inconvenience.
