Christy, I'm interested in the Explorer package, but you don't have an email on file. Please email me! quote: Originally posted by ciscogizmo1: One thing to be sure of when the agent calls you acted really interested in the resort. My aunt kinda had an attitude with them and they wouldn't give her the package. They felt she was only using the package for a cheap hotel stay which was true. She is sorry she did because she really wanted to stay there but they wouldn't let her. Also, I think, you can only do 1 marriott promo every 2 years. HTH, Tina...
Thanks for the advice, Tina! Just to make sure I understand, the Explorer package is Starwood, not Marriott, right? IP: Logged |

Yikes, I'm glad I checked in. I'm a CPA and it's the last 4 weeks of tax season, so I haven't been logging in as much. Judy321 - I just updated my profile so my e-mail should become visible. I'll send you a private e-mail, too. Hopefully I kept that card. I sent one of them in, but I don't remember for which property. I'm so sorry - if you saw my desk right now, you'd be afraid for me. Please send me your info. I'll flag it and if I don't readily come across the form, I'll look for it right after 4/15. :-) WiTraveler - I'm not sure why they were going to let me do that. They're under no obligation. They wouldn't let me trade properties for $$ value. I had to keep at least EOY at Harborside, then could upgrade at Ka'anapali. I think it was possible because deeds hadn't recorded at either property and they were getting more of my money. Pls send me an e-mail if you'd like to chat further. Right now, I just want to go where the sun is shining and the rum drinks are flowing. Rainy weather and 14 hr days have got to go!! Happily we leave for Kierland on 5/6. Christy IP: Logged |

Opps, I thought the previous thread was referring to a Marriott package. I really don't know the names of the packages. Marriott offers a very similar one to Starwood. Sorry... ------------------ You can see my timeshare photos here: http://community.webshots.com/user/ciscogizmo IP: Logged |

LOL... I thought you owned a Curves franchise... What a small world my husband is a CPA too. So, he has been doing the 14 hour days and can't wait until 4 weeks are up!! ------------------ You can see my timeshare photos here: http://community.webshots.com/user/ciscogizmo IP: Logged |

Tina - I do own a Curves franchise! :-) My husband and I have an acctg practice in Stockton. 3 yrs ago I decided I could also run a 2nd company, so I opened 3 Curves locations in Walnut Creek and Lafayette. I sold 2 clubs last spring. I've just listed my last location for sale . . . . I can't keep this pace up - full time at both. Plus my kids are 12 and 10 and I've really been working way too much for 3 yrs. They need me more. So, is your husband at the panic point where you don't know if you should be happy 'cause there's only 4 weeks left, or freak out 'cause there aren't enough hrs in the day? ;-) Christy P.S. I have cards to send in for both Marriott and Starwood, so I probably goofed the names up. IP: Logged |

OMGOSH, he is in the FREAK OUT Mode... I don't even sleep in the same room with him towards the end because he is snoring way too loud, talks in sleep, & toss and turns all night. Sad, huh??? I can't imagine both spouses being a CPA ;-p Good luck for home stretch.... It will be over before you know it. I can't wait to be on vacation in May.... It will be nice to be eating dinner together again! Tina ------------------ You can see my timeshare photos here: http://community.webshots.com/user/ciscogizmo IP: Logged |

Tina - you know I'm laughing in empathy and TOTAL understanding ;-) Dinner? Is that something you eat that doesn't come in the form of a frozen package or take-out? Had a dr. appt today - first BP reading was 140/98. I said, "Do you think it's the stress or the 5 cups of coffee I just drank to wake up this morning?" ;-) BP came down before end of visit, btw. We're going to Kierland in early May. Where are you off to? Christy IP: Logged |

Glad you are okay... You are definitely brave to visit the doctor during tax season. My dh doesn't go because he is afraid they'd say something like he has lots of stress and high blood pressure...
We are off to Disneyworld. Tina
