You know the ones that wink or smile - the animated ones!

I just sent my daughter off to college (boo! hoo!) and would like to add some to my emails to express my emotions! Are there even sites with animated animals and such ?

to make it work in e-mail, you need to set the mail format to HTML (with Outlook that is on Format dropdown), then go to insert picture. You then paste the URL (the part of the address that begins with "http:" as the picture source. When you do this paste just the http address; you need to remove the IMG tags, including the brackets, at the front and rear of the link you copy from those websites.

If it just gave you the links, check the following:

1. Is the format of your message set to HTML? Rich text and plain text will display the tag, not the image.

2. Are the IMG tags completely removed at the front and the back of the address, including the brackets?

3. Did you put the picture in the message using the "Insert...Picture" pull down? Cut and paste shows the link instead of the picture.

I tested it out before I posted, using Outlook, and it worked for me.
